Even if Frank weren't my brother, I'd still say that "I
Belong to Nobody" was the best song that ever came from this area I'm glad that you are
recording again. Good luck! Love ya. |

I guess I met Jimmy Orten in the first grade. Went to his
house for Cub Scout meetings, since him mother was our den leader. Jimmy
got his guitar when we were in the fifth grade, and used to bring it to
school and do Elvis impersonations.
Hope all is going well,
continued success. |

I was the former lead singer with "The New York Free
Public Library" with Don "Moose" Mollyhorn and John Carby. Also "The
Profiles". I got on Ask Jeeves to see what I could find on the old
Louisville groups and found you. It's great to see that Mike Hoernie and
Marvin Maxwell are still making music. |

I work at a record store in Charlotte and was wondering if
this was the same Soul Inc that recorded live at the Cellar in
Charlotte,NC circa 1966??? No mention of this record on website but Jerry
Osborne vinyl price guide says that record goes for a good price and is a
legitimate release. Record is on Emblem. I have 2 sealed copies and seems
to be VERY RARE. |

I just had to come back. I just got off the phone with a
couple of other old Louisville players. We're playing the Valley High '69
reunion next year and the song list got me thinking of you guys. So, I
just had to come check out your site again. I'm always amazed at the wide
influence you had. Personally, I now have all the CD's and my own copy of
the book "Louisville's Own" and I'm in very warm mood. Keep it up. |
